Since Suresh Gopi grabbed the historic win in Thrissur, it has been raining abuse and trolls for actress Nimisha Sajayan. Some four years ago, Nimisha while attending a protest against CAA had scoffed at Suresh Gopi for his infamous remark on ‘taking Thrissur along with him’.

With what many thought as impossible finally turning into a reality, the Sangh Parivar supporters and many others unleashed a massive cyber-attack on the actress after which she had to close down her comment box.

And now another BJP leader and popular film director Major Ravi has responded to the issue. In a live video shared on Facebook, Major Ravi deplored the cyber-attack against Nimisha Sajayan.

Major Ravi:

“I believe that Nimisha is not part of any political organization. She is an artist and I don’t know whether she has got the mental strength to survive these attacks. I have seen many ruthless comments on her social media page. I don’t think it is proper to haunt an artist in such a way.

I know what Suresh’s family had gone through during all such personal insults and statements. But see how Gokul responded to the issue the other day. He confessed to being hurt by the actress's comments but deplored the attack she is now facing. He talked maturely unlike the youngsters now, which shows his upbringing.

I also second Gokul’s opinion. Nimisha might have made those comments eyeing some applause at the function. I don’t think it was personal or anything. Anyway, that’s water under the bridge now and the cyber-attacks should be stopped at once.”
