TIRUNELVELI: In a shocking accident, a man was crushed to death under a bus after his bike was attacked by a stray cow on the street. The accident happened last day in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. Velayudha Raj, an employee of the Magistrate Court is the victim. The CCTV footage of the accident has already gone viral on social media.

From the video, it was found that two cows were fighting each other on the aisle of the road. After the fight, one cow headed for the road and stormed straight into Velayudha Raj, who was riding his bike through the busy street. The cow then stomped the bike forcing Velayudha Raj to fall on the other side of the road. A bus that was speeding on this side, went over the man, killing him instantly.

The driver and others present in the area rushed Velayudha Raj to hospital but the doctors declared him dead. CCTV footage of the accident has been released. Authorities have also started efforts to find the owner of the cow.
