THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first accused in the suicide of an Instagram influencer in Thiruvananthapuram was sent again to police custody for two days by the court. Puthukulangara native Benoy is the first accused in the case. The prosecution informed the court that the accused was not cooperating with the investigation and the car in which the girl was taken to the resort in Varkala could not be found. POCSO court judge MP Shibu remanded the accused to custody.

The police arrested Ramya Gopan GB of Sadanam house near Amman Kovil in Karakulam and Visak alias Kichu who lives on rent at Anayara MCC Lane from a studio in Kunnukuzhy, for helping the accused buy medicine to conduct an abortion. Based on the information collected from them, the police wanted to interrogate Benoy again.

Custody was granted after accepting the prosecution's demand to question the accused again and to not create loopholes in the investigation. Special Public Prosecutor Kattaikonam JK Ajith Prasad appeared in the case.
