mannar-kala-murder

ALAPPUZHA: The Chengannur First Class Judicial Magistrate Court has issued an open warrant against Anil, the husband and the first accused in the Mannar Kala murder case. This is part of the process to bring him back to India from Israel. The action is based on the application submitted by the police through the public prosecutor last Friday.

The warrant containing Anil's passport number, address, sponsor and company details was handed over to the investigating officer, Mannar CI. In the next step, the open warrant will be handed over to the CBI through the crime branch through the police headquarters. Then the Interpol section of the CBI Delhi office will issue a red corner notice against Anil. Following this the police will issue a lookout notice and forward it to the embassies and airports through the immigration department. This would prevent Anil from leaving Israel to some other country.

The investigation team is also trying to create a possibility to bring Anil back home voluntarily by putting pressure on the family members and relatives.
