THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod in the next three hours.

The low-pressure belt extends from north Kerala coast to south Gujarat coast. A cyclonic circulation is located over the central west Bay of Bengal and northwest Bay of Bengal near the north Andhra Pradesh coast.

As a result of this, the Central Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of moderate/moderate rain with widespread thunder and lightning in Kerala for the next five days.
