BENGALURU: Police registered a case against a pub co-owned by Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli. A case was filed against Kohli's One8 Commune Pub for operating in violation of the permitted time limit. A case has been filed against four pubs including One8 Commune.

The pub is located in Ratnam Complex near Cubbon Park, Bengaluru. Pubs are allowed to operate till midnight in Bengaluru city. On July 6, at around 1:30 pm, the Cubbon Park Police conducted a lightning inspection and found that some pubs were still working after the deadline. An FIR has been filed against the manager of the pub.

One8 Commune has branches in Delhi and Mumbai. After the success of the pub in these cities, One8 Commune started operations in Bengaluru in December last year. Kohli’s love for Bengaluru has been evident in more than one instance. In many interviews, the cricket superstar revealed his special liking for the garden city. Recently, the pub has started operations in Hyderabad as well.
