THRISSUR: One person was killed after a massive fire broke out at a spare parts warehouse in Mulakunnathukavu in Thrissur on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Palakkad Nenmara native Libin. Libin was a worker who came for welding work in the warehouse. The fire broke out at around 7 pm on Tuesday. It is estimated that the fire has caused huge financial losses.

The spare parts warehouse named Autonity is owned by two brothers hailing from Kozhikode. Upon receiving information, fire force units from Wadakkanchery, Puthukkad and Kunnamkulam rushed to the spot and initiated the rescue operation. Eight units of the fire force are trying to put out the fire. According to the latest report, the fire force is yet to completely douse off the fire. Locals learned about the incident after the fire broke out on a large scale. Representatives of the local bodies, including the Panchayat President, have reached the spot.
