KOTTAYAM: The police have arrested an auto driver for allegedly misbehaving with a woman in a private bus in Thazhathangadi. The said autorickshaw driver, Rajesh, is a native of Karammoodu.

The incident took place last evening in the Ann Maria bus operating on the Kottayam-Kumarakom route. Rajesh allegedly followed and harassed a 20-year-old resident of Thazhathangadi.

When the bus reached Thazhathangadi, the man harassed the woman again. When the girl created a ruckus, the locals intervened in the matter. Then the locals and the bus staff caught Rajesh and handed him over to the police.
