THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On the occasion of the first death anniversary of former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Trustee Mariamma Oommen has announced that Manna Charitable Trust will organize charity programs in the state under the name of Oommen Chandy Snehasparsham.

On July 18, the bank liabilities of a poor family living in Kottayam district will be settled and documents will be returned. A free medical camp will be organized in collaboration with Rajagiri Hospital at Oommen Chandy Nagar, Kanjikuzhi, Idukki from nine in the morning on July 20. A free medical camp will be held on July 21 at Pathanapuram Gandhi Bhavan in collaboration with Shanthigiri Ayurveda Hospital from 10.00 am. Former MP K.Muralidharan will conduct the Oommen Chandy commemoration meeting and inaugurate the Trust's Ayurvedic Medical Camp project from 2 pm. Prominent people from religious, social and cultural fields will participate.

On July 28, the trust will provide study assistance to the automobile engineering student of Polytechnic in Alappuzha.

From 9.30 am on August 3rd, will visit St. Thomas Ashram and Balika Bala Bhavan and spend the day with the children. Malankara Orthodox Church Malabar Bhadrasana Metropolitan Geevarghese Mar Paco Mios will be the chief guest.

Shanti Giri Ayurveda Medical College will organize a free medical camp in collaboration with Attappadi Nanma union at Kottathara Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College from 4th August from 11.00 am. Mannarkkad MLA N. Shamsudeen will inaugurate. Movie star Kailas will be the chief guest.
