NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has directed the National Testing Agency to upload the marks of all students who wrote the NEET UG exams, on the official website before noon on Saturday. Marks, Examination Center and City of Examination should be separately categorized while uploading the marks. A dummy number can be used in place of roll numbers.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta opposed the idea of revealing the exam centres but the court did not relent. The court insisted on revealing the centre-wise results to get an idea about the pattern of marks. The matter will be taken up again on Monday and a final decision is expected.

Before deciding on the re-examination, the court is trying to gauge the impact of the question paper leak and how it reflected on the marks.

The bench chaired by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, who wanted to know the mark pattern, called for concern if the question paper leaked and the exam time had a three-day gap in between. the court will proceed with re-examination if convinced about the sanctity of the examination being affected.
