THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rains are intensifying again in the state. There is a rain warning in four districts in the next three hours. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Ernakulam and Thrissur are likely to experience moderate rain at isolated places and strong winds with a speed of up to 40 kmph in the next three hours.

Yellow alert has been announced in the districts. A chance of isolated heavy rain is forecast. Heavy rain is defined by the department as rainfall between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm in 24 hours. Rain with thunder and lightning is expected here.
