KALPETTA: Higher Education and Social Justice Minister Dr R Bindu has said that a special counselling cell will be set up to provide psychological support to the victims of the Wayanad victims. Speaking at a press conference at the Collectorate, the minister said that the special cell will work under the leadership of the Social Justice Department and the Kudumbashree District Mission.
"A system will be put in place to provide counselling to those staying in the camps and those staying in relatives' homes. Tele-counseling service will also be made available as per requirement," the minister said.
'Exam on Demand' system for students
The minister said that universities have been directed to implement an 'exam on demand' system for students who were directly or indirectly affected by the disaster.
