ALAPPUZHA: Although the photos and videos of an ASI's pleasure trip and celebrations with the accused in an attempted murder case are going viral on social media, the police are not ready to investigate the matter. The pictures and videos show ASI Sreenivasan of Alappuzha AR camp celebrating with Unni (41) aka Ulukku Unni, the third accused who was granted bail by the High Court in the attempted murder that took place in Alappuzha eleven years ago. The photos and videos of the celebration went viral while the top police officers were sitting idle without taking any action despite receiving information about the celebration held in March.

In the videos, the ASI can be seen singing and dancing with Unni and his friends at his house in Alappuzha and at a resort outside the district. It is indicated that the celebrations were held after the accused, including Unni, got released on bail in the attempted murder case.
