THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: It is reported that a person was roughed up and later kidnapped from the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. A three-member gang is purported to have beaten up a Tamil Nadu native and then dragged him into their car and fled away. An autorickshaw driver who witnessed the scene informed the police.

The Tamil Nadu native arrived at Thiruvananthapuram airport on Wednesday morning. After landing, he hired an auto rickshaw and almost reached Sreekanteswaram when a swift car blocked them. A three-member gang came out from the vehicle and started beating the passenger. They later dragged him into their car and went away.

The police have started an investigation but have not yet identified the passenger.
