SHIRUR: Manaf, the owner of the lorry driven by the missing lorry driver Arjun, has confirmed that the rope found by the Navy during the search to find Arjun belonged to his vehicle. According to Manaf, this rope was used to tie timber to the lorry driven by Arjun. The Navy had also found a part similar to the cabin of the lorry during the search. However, Manaf said that this part seemed very old and was not likely to belong to the lorry driven by Arjun.

Meanwhile, Navy experts are conducting a search at the locations where the metal parts were found in the river. Fishermen are also taking part in the search. The Navy said that the inspection is going on at two places in the river.

Although diving expert Eshwar Malpe went into the river 11 times on Wednesday, he was not able to find anything crucial. The soil accumulated at the riverbed is the main obstacle for the search. Eshwar Malpe said that he was not able to find anything during the five-hour-long search because of the rock and soil accumulated on the riverbed.
