THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: All BEVCO outlets across the state will remain closed on Thursday, August 15, in observance of Independence Day. The employees of the Beverages Corporation have been granted a holiday tomorrow, as per the official notification. This means that customers will not be able to purchase beverages from BEVCO outlets on Independence Day. While BEVCO outlets will remain closed, Consumerfed liquor outlets and bars will remain open on Thursday.

Meanwhile, a complete dry day will be observed in the state on August 20 due to Sree Narayana Guru Jayanthi. Besides BEVCO liquor outlets, Consumerfed liquor outlets and bars in the state will not function on that day.
