THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Biju (50), a native of Kaithamukku, and his family of six, who sought shelter under the Thakaraparambu flyover in the heart of the capital without even a shed to lay their heads, have been promised a four-cent land and a house. The helping hand was extended by Dasan, a native of Mundrothuruthu, Kollam. Biju and his family of six have been promised the vacant house and land Dasan owns in Kollam Munrothuruth.

Kerala Kaumudi had reported the miserable life of Biju and his family on the 14th. Dasan made the offer after seeing the report. Dasan informed that if Biju and his family are interested in staying on his land, he can hand over the ownership.

The reason for Biju's hard time was a serious head injury he sustained during the construction of a building. He had to sell his house as it cost a lot of money for the treatment. No health to work. With that, Biju was forced to find a place under the Thakaraparambu flyover to rest his head along with six members of his family.
