KOZHIKODE: The passengers of a car narrowly escaped after their car fell into a well after losing control of the vehicle. The incident happened late last night at Naithukulangara near Chevayur in Kozhikode. The car that met with the accident was driven by Radhakrishnan of Chevayur. He was taken out from the well by the fire force. More details are not available.

Google map cheats again
Google Map has cheated the passengers again. Three people were injured in the accident when the car of the natives of Karnataka, who were driving by looking at Google Maps as they did not know the place, fell into a canal. Benedict (67), D'Souza (60) and Lawrence (62), natives of Chikkamagaluru sustained injuries.

The accident happened at 11 am on Saturday morning. The accident happened to those who were going to Pulpally. The vehicle they were traveling in, which was looking at Google Maps, entered the bridge which was only wide enough for one person to walk and fell about 15 feet down. The car rushed to the bridge built across the stream near Bavali Maqam. Neighbours said the vehicle which entered the footpath across the bridge fell into the stream while trying to brake.

Fire rescue personnel from Mananthavadi rescued the injured with the help of locals. The injured were taken to the Wayanad Government Medical College Hospital in an ambulance of the Fire Rescue Service.

Earlier, many incidents of Google Maps cheating were reported. Some lost their lives in such accidents while others escaped unhurt.
