THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Heavy rain is likely in the state today. Yellow alert has been announced in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki. A chance of isolated heavy rain is forecast.
The Central Meteorological Department said that moderate rain with thunder and lightning at isolated places in Kerala's Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Ernakulam and Thrissur districts and strong winds with a speed of up to 40 kmph are likely in the next three hours.
