KANNUR: The admin of the page 'Ambadimukku Sagakkal', a pro-Left cybergroup based in Kannur, where the Kafir screenshot was circulated, is a confidant of P Jayarajan. DYFI Mayyil block committee member and CPM Velom branch secretary Manish Manohar is the admin of the page. Manish was in charge of P Jayarajan's social media when he was Kannur district secretary. In the police report submitted to the court, it was stated that it was Manish who shared the kafir screenshot on 'Ambadimukku Sagakkal' page. At the same time, the CPM district leadership is not ready to denounce Manish.
District Secretary MV Jayarajan, who said that spreading fake screenshots was wrong, did not respond to a question on whether action would be taken against Manish.
The police informed the High Court that the Kafir screenshot was first received in the Red Encounter WhatsApp group. DYFI Vadakara Block President Ribesh was the one who posted the screenshot in this group. Manish received the screenshot on April 25, after 2 pm, and immediately posted it on the Facebook page Ambadimukku Sagakkal. Manish is an employee of CPM-led Mayyil Service Cooperative Bank.

At the same time, Manish said that he was not the one who made the Kafir screenshot. "The screenshot that was received on the WhatsApp group was shared on the page. It was taken down within 10 minutes since I felt something wrong about it."
