PALAKKAD: A 33-year-old scooter passenger died after his vehicle collided with a car at Lakkidi in Palakkad. The dead is Sivadasan (33) of Kadampazhipuram Kunduvam Padam Kandathodi House. Jishnu (20) of Karaparambu who was pillion riding sustained serious injuries.

The accident happened early Thursday morning near Lakkidi Perur Panchayat office. Police said the car moving towards Pathirippala area from Ottappalam hit the back of the scooter. Sivadasan was a welding worker.
