KOCHI: AMMA organization General Secretary actor Siddique dismissed the notion of ‘power groups’ existing in the film world. The actor also reacted to Parvathy Thiruvothu’s allegations in the wake of the Hema committee report.

“No one can take away anyone's opportunities. Those who have been part of successful films will have opportunities again and again. It is the director's call to select the actors he deems best fit for the role. Parvathy is a highly talented actress. She has been part of recent movies. I am also an actor and I have also experienced times with fewer movies. I never created a fuss over it. We can’t demand roles; it should approach us.” Siddique welcomed the Hema committee report and also promised all help from the organization to the actors who bore the brunt of abuse from technicians.
