THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has now gone into the defensive after news emerged about officials hiding details from reports not prohibited by RTI. The government's approach to the Hema Committee report has even made LDF and CPM members fuming with displeasure. The simmering within the factions even forced Party State Secretary MV Govindan to call a press conference to say that the government would not cut anything from the report.
