Actress Shweta Menon reacts to the Hema Committee report. The actress revealed that there is a power group in Malayalam cinema and she too had an illegal ban. She also stated in an interview given to the media that she has lost nine films that he had signed a contract with due to this.

'I am very happy that the report has come. I'm saying it's a little late. I have been saying for many years that women have their own problems. We have to fight. No one will stand with us. I believe that women are women's worst enemy. Those who experience difficulties are not saying it out loud. Men come later. If women themselves support women, many will speak out. It's a good change that a few people are speaking out now.

"I am fighting ten or twelve cases. I'm always a reactive person so this doesn't seem new to me. I am a person who believes in saying no when you have to say no. All this is the problem of not saying no. I don't know what everyone's situation is. I can only speak for myself. I have heard many problems of women including not getting paid on time. Because I've seen a lot of things in Bollywood, I asked here and got it."

"I have not experienced any casting couch. When I was the vice president of AMMA, I used to say that if anyone had something to say, they should come to me. But no one came. I've missed movies.
I have also had an illegal ban. Nine contracts were signed, but no films were made. I think what I deserve will come to me. There is a power group. There will be not only men in but also women in it.'
