KOTTAYAM: Minister MB Rajesh has responded to the allegations against director and chairman Ranjith. "Only the comments of the two groups have come. No complaints have come before the government. Legal action will be taken if a complaint is filed," the minister said. "Kerala is a rule of law state. Nothing will fly above the law. The government will take legal action," added the minister.

Meanwhile, PK Firos, State Secretary of the Youth League, criticized Ranjith. Firos demanded that Ranjith resign immediately. "An FIR should be filed against Ranjith. The CPM is taking a stance of protecting those who support left and praise Pinarayi," Firos alleged. "Incidents that prove again and again that Pinarayi Vijayan's government is providing protection to women oppressors are coming out. The Hema committee report was not released for so long because of the interest of the filmmakers who are part of the government," Firos said.

"Let us investigate the matter related to Ranjith. How can we face him if he is found innocent? What if those mentioned in the Hema committee report say that there is no case?" asked actor and MLA Mukesh.
"Issues in AMMA will be conveyed by its officials. I am not an AMMA official now. If there are differences of opinion, they will come to fix everything. It is a very commendable thing that the Hema committee was set up. Other states should learn from this," Mukesh said.
