KOCHI: Young actress Revathi Sampath has escalated her accusations against actor Siddique, labelling him a criminal and demanding that he be banned from the film industry. Revathi alleged that Siddique not only misbehaved with her but also with hotel staff, reinforcing her call for decisive action.

In addition to her accusations against Siddique, Revathi also made serious claims against actor Riyaz Khan. According to Revathi, Riyaz Khan called her and used obscene language, even going so far as to suggest that she inform him if she had friends who were willing to cooperate with his inappropriate requests. The actress stated that she is considering filing a case against Siddique but would only proceed if the government assures her that justice will be served.

Revathi expressed concern about the potential impact of pursuing a case against Siddique on her career, cautioning that it could create significant obstacles for her. However, she affirmed that she possesses evidence against Siddique, which could substantiate her claims.

Last week, Revathi Sampath made headlines by accusing Siddique of misconduct, revealing that the incident occurred when she was just 21 years old. She recounted being called to the Muscot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram in 2016 under the pretense of being offered a role in a Tamil film starring Siddique's son. During the meeting, Siddique allegedly asked if she was willing to make "adjustments" and became violent when she resisted, leading to a physical assault and, as she later revealed, rape.

Revathi also recounted how Siddique threatened her, stating that no one would believe her if she spoke out, and warned that she would lose her opportunities in the film industry. In 2019, after disclosing the harassment on Facebook, Revathi faced a cyber attack. Reflecting on her experience, she shared that she initially met Siddique while pursuing modeling after completing her Plus Two exams, never imagining that he would behave in such a manner.
