THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Most Malayalam film organizations are now treading a fine line minding the explosive aftermath of the Hema committee report. Producers Association and FEFKA have given instructions to the members in this regard. These organisations will soon discuss their plans with the awaited new committee of AMMA organisation.
It is generally considered that the allegations against mainstream actors and producers are enough to damage the collections of movies and bring down the repute of the industry.
The Producers Association has directed members to ensure caravan at film locations exclusively for junior artists. In the gap of every two months, representatives of all organizations will review the performance and complaints and take appropriate action. A workshop for production controllers and others will be organized by the Film Producers Association in association with FEFKA.
FEFKA asked for a report from all 21 of its unions to bring changes within the organization. A meeting of all members will be held at Kochi YMCA from the 2nd to the 4th of next month.
