KOCHI: The police have registered a case against actors Mukesh MLA, Edavela Babu, Maniyanpilla Raju and congress leader advocate V S Chandrasekharan. The Kochi Marad police registered a case against Mukesh under non-bailable section. The special investigation team recorded the actress’ complaint yesterday. The case was registered against Mukesh soon after this. This is the second case registered on the actress seven complaints. Her statement is that she was abused after promising roles in films.

The police also registered cases against Edavela Babu, Maniyanpilla Raju and congress leader advocate V S Chandrashekaran on the complaint of the same actress. The actress in her complaint said Edavela Babu abused her after promising membership in the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).

The Fort Kochi Police registered case against Maniyanpilla Raju. A case has been registered against the actor for rape. A case has also been filed against production controller Noble.


The police have registered a rape case against V S Chandrasekaran The actress’ complaint said that he abused her after taking her to show the movie location. The Kochi Central Police registered a case against him. Chandrasekaran, who was the state president of Lawyers Congress, had resigned yesterday following the complaint of the actress.
