KOCHI: The complainant has denied evidence submitted by Mukesh in the court seeking anticipatory bail. She has denied the argument that an email was sent. The actress responded in an interview given to a media.
‘I don't remember about the email mentioned in the plea. I remember a few other things. I had a laptop in my hand when I met him. In 2009, on the sets of the movie Calendar, he asked me if I could go to his house with the laptop and teach him how to use it. Maybe it was asked wrongly. This man doesn’t know anything about laptops. Not only that email messages were not relevant then. It's all concocted. I think it is his number to somehow escape from the case,' she said.
Meantime, the actress clarified that Mukesh was right in saying that she said that she would help him resolve the issues with his first wife Saritha. ‘Though Saritha Chechi is not a Malayali, she had given birth to two of his children? I asked him couldn’t you compromise with her, asked him whether she could go and talk to Saritha chechi. He then said that even Mammootty had never spoken to him about his personal matter. I told him I am saying this as a sister.
Why should I send him my account number to him? He said that I blackmailed him in 2022. He said that I send him the account number in 2009. These two are not in sync. There has been no financial transaction between the two of us,’ clarified the actress.
The actress added that she had not gone to Mukesh's house in Kollam. The complainant stated that the incident related to the case happened at Mukesh's villa in Marad and there is evidence for it.
Mukesh in his bail plea alleged that the complainant had an ulterior motive in the sexual assault complaint against him. He mentioned in the plea that the allegation is aimed at ruining his film and political career and the email message sent on March 7, 2009 is evidence to prove this false. The complainant has appreciated his polite behavior. If arrested and remanded, it will cause an irreparable loss. The actor also stated that he would cooperate with the investigation in every way.
