KOCHI: A young music director has been arrested in a case where he molested the woman with a promise of marriage and threatened to hand over the footage to the woman's family. Sarath Mohan (40), a resident of Ernakulam, was arrested. Palarivattam police arrested him from his girlfriend's house in Vaikkom on the complaint of a native of Thiruvananthapuram.

He molested the young woman for the first time in October 2023. Then she was taken to different places in the district and molested. When the harassment became unbearable, the young woman refused to go with him and was threatened to hand over the torture scenes to her family. In the complaint, the woman says that Sarath used to beat and strangle her.
