THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Action has been taken against former AICC member and PSC member Simi Rose Bell John, who criticized the opposition leader and women leaders of the Congress in an interview given to a private TV channel. KPCC General Secretary M. Liju has announced that KPCC President K. Sudhakaran MP has expelled Simi Rose Bell John from the primary membership of the party.
With the connivance of political enemies, Simi Rose Bell John made the allegation with an aim to psychologically break and defame lakhs of women leaders and workers of the Congress movement.
The women leaders of the KPCC political affairs committee and the KPCC office bearers and the state president of the Mahila Congress have requested the KPCC leadership to take action against Simi Rose Bell John in a joint complaint. The KPCC also stated that the disciplinary action was taken because prima facie the party was convinced that the act of Simi Rose Bell John was a serious breach of discipline.
