KOTTAYAM: ADGP M R Ajith Kumar came forward reacting on the investigation announced by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on the allegations leveled by P V Anwar MLA. He said that he has given a letter to the chief minister and DGP to investigate all the allegations levelled against him by using government mechanisms. He told the media in Kottayam that they should investigate the matter.


He returned without replying to the questions of the media whether the allegations made by Anwar were personal and whether he would stay away from his post. He responded to the issue in a single sentence.


Meantime, while speaking at the police association event, he explained about the changes made in the force. Has been working in the police force for the past 29 years. He brought the name civil police. Was part of many changes in the Kerala Police since joining the service. Proud of it. I don't know if will get another chance to change this, he said. He said the people of Kerala trust the police and you should be able to protect it. He added that let him be able to continue to work for the people and the government.
