THRISSUR: Popular Malayalam music director Mohan Sithara joined BJP in Thrissur on Monday. The creator of chartbusters in Mollywood accepted the membership from BJP Thrissur District President Adv KK Aneeshkumar. With this star inclusion into their party, BJP started the district-level membership campaign in Thrissur in high elan.

BJP Constituency President Raghunath C Menon, State Committee Member Murali Kolangatt and Constituency General Secretary Sushant Ainikunnath were also present on the occasion. The membership drive started on September 2 after PM Modi participated in the campaign by renewing his party membership.

The saffron party is aiming to bring seven lakh new members from Thrissur through this campaign. The membership campaign will go on until October 15.
