LUCKNOW: The principal suspended a nursery student for bringing non-vegetarian food for lunch. The incident happened at a private school in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. The video was captured by some of the parents present there. The video is going viral on social media.
The video shows a heated argument between the principal and the child’s mother. ‘We can't educate kids who break our temples, harm Hindus, talk about converting all Hindus, and destroying Ram Mandir,’ the principal is heard saying. The boy is talking about converting everyone to Islam by giving them non-veg food. The child learns all this from home. All this is taught by his parents. ‘Your son's name has been removed from the register as parents of other students have raised their concerns,’ the principal is heard saying in the video.
However, the boy’s mother admitted the boy bringing non-veg food to school, but denied the allegations raised by the principal. She said that her son, a nursery student, can never say such things. She said another child is constantly attacking her son. However, the principal said she is lying to conceal the offence against her son and is blaming another student to mislead the incident.
Amroha Police said that after the seven-minute long video went viral online, the District Inspector of Schools (DIS) has formed a three-member inquiry committee to investigate the matter and take further action.
