THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has responded to the Congress's allegations about the CPM's relationship with the RSS. He stated that the CPM has not yet reached the stage where it needs to appease the RSS and that the CPM is a party that has lost lives while directly confronting the RSS.

Speaking in Thiruvananthapuram, the Chief Minister said that the KPCC president once publicly said he had stood guard for RSS shakha. Taking a dig at opposition leader VD Satheesan, the CM said that everyone knows who had bowed down in front of Golwalkar's picture.

Pinarayi Vijayan alleged that the relationship between the Congress and RSS is not just limited to Kerala, but also exists at the national level. He said everyone in the country is aware of this from the Babri Masjid issue onwards.

"CPM has the habit of opposing the RSS. Some people are now trying to spread misinformation, alleging something wrong has occurred. CPM is a party that has never compromised on its stance against RSS," he said.
