THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF convener TP Ramakrishnan said that the allegations levelled against ADGP MR Ajith Kumar should be subjected to comprehensive examination. Ramakrishnan made it clear that the LDF too shares the government's stance that if the ADGP is found to have committed a mistake, he will not be protected and instead, stringent action will be taken against him.

"The Home Department is conducting a probe into the allegations levelled against the ADGP. The Left Front in Kerala has been facing numerous challenges related to the RSS. Hence, no one from the LDF will opt for a compromise or reconciliation with the RSS," Ramakrishnan said at the press conference.

"If the government's investigation finds that the ADGP should be removed from his law and order duties, then that action will definitely be taken. There's nothing wrong with the constituent parties expressing their opinions. You cannot say that someone shouldn't meet another individual. But the question is why the ADGP held a meeting with the RSS leader," Ramakrishnan said.

"The decision to remove EP Jayarajan from the LDF convenor post was not because of his meeting with Prakash Javadekar. It was an organizational decision of the party. The decision can be changed even tomorrow. An investigation will be launched into all complaints filed by PV Anvar," he added.
