KANNUR: In a terrible incident, a car hit a bike and fled the spot without even caring to take the biker to the hospital. Kannur Vilakkode native Riyas (38) died after not receiving immediate medical care. The incident took place at Sivapuram Kolari on Friday evening.

Riyas had to lie on the road for half an hour before getting any medical care. The locals then rushed Riyas to hospital but he couldn’t be saved. The car was later taken into police custody.
