THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: FEFKA general secretary B Unnikrishnan subverted our government's online movie ticket booking system, alleged actor Unni Sivapal. The actor, also a FEFKA member, alleged that Unnikrishnan sabotaged the system where tickets can be booked at a low cost, for a big company.
Unni Sivapal's company I-Net Vision quoted the lowest amount. Unni Sivapal alleged that B Unnikrishnan intervened for a big company. Unni Sivapal said that despite the low tender amount, his company was omitted. Unni Sivapal said that an attempt was made to sabotage the project by making massive interventions at the government level. Unni Sivapal responded that if B Unnikrishnan denies, he will release the evidence. A service charge of Rs 10 was required to book a movie on the government application. Of this, Rs 5 goes to the welfare fund and Rs 5 to the theater owners.
Meantime, B Unnikrishnan completely denied the allegations leveled against him. Unnikrishnan asked Unni Sivapal to come forward with all the evidence and what is the connection with the cheap movie ticketing application and FEFKA.
We know that the government is developing this kind of application. Shaji N Karun conducted the experiment a year ago in three theatres. The government and Keltron were working together on that system. Unnikrishnan also responded that he does not know how another private company has a role in it.
Why is Sivapal now talking about the incident that happened earlier and if he raises the allegation and comes forward with more evidence, will face it legally.
