KOCHI: Despite getting bail in the actress assault case, the main accused Pulsar Suni's release from jail is getting delayed. Suni's release is getting delayed as bail procedures in two other cases are yet to be completed. Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the 2017 Kerala actress assault case, was granted bail by the Supreme Court the other day, after spending over seven years in jail.

Pulsar Suni will now have to face bail proceedings in two cases- the case of a robbery in Kottayam and the one related to using a mobile phone while in remand in the Kakkanad District Jail. The other day, the Supreme Court had directed that Pulsar Suni be produced before the trial court within a week and released on bail. The top court also clarified that the trial court can decide the bail conditions.

Meanwhile, reports claim that Pulsar Suni's lawyer will file a petition in a special court in Kochi, seeking his client's release on bail as the Supreme Court has granted him bail in the actress assault case. The lawyer will request the court to produce Suni and grant him bail with specific conditions.
