THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI in an opinion piece on their mouthpiece, heavily criticized the ruling ally CPM for not moving a finger against ADGP MR Ajith Kumar, who held covert meetings with RSS leaders in Kerala.

In the party's mouthpiece, Janayugam, National Executive Member K. Prakash Babu penned an incisive article titled 'Left-Party Politics Beyond Doubts', that has now opened debates within the party.

Article:

“Why did the top police officer of the state meet two national leaders of RSS in Kerala? What was the need since there are now current communal conflicts in the state? If the officer is not prepared to inform the DGP or the Home Department about the reason behind the meeting, he should be duly removed from service.

The police chief holding talks with fascist forces is a stain on the left politics of Kerala. The meeting should not be associated with Thrissur Pooram ruckus.

Political policy change should be discovered through political convictions and not official reports. Justice delayed is justice denied not only for the judiciary but also for the government and the front. The left political approach should not leave the people of the state in doubt. Strict action is warranted in the case and there is no need for ambiguity.”
