CHENNAI: Actor Vijay's political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) is set to hold its first public rally on October 27 in the Villupuram district. The rally will take place at Vikravandi at 4 pm, where Vijay will share detailed information about the party, including its ideology and leaders.

Taking to his social media handle, Vijay requested support and blessings from everyone for the party's success. Initially, the rally was planned for this month. However, due to delays in obtaining police permission, it was rescheduled for October.

Earlier, reports had claimed that prominent leaders, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, may be invited to the rally.
