SHIRUR: It is rumoured that the lorry of missing Kozhikode native Arjun was spotted in the Gangavali river on Saturday. Diving expert Eshwar Malpe confirmed spotting the lorry at the bottom of the river. The lorry was found 30 meters from the fourth point marked by the Navy. Malpe said he spotted the tyre parts of the lorry at the bed portion of the river.

No other lorry was reported missing in the marked area, thus strengthening the chances of this lorry belonging to Kozhikode native Arjun. At the same time, the owner Manaf asked the media to wait for some more time before identifying the lorry.

The search for three people, including Arjun, who went missing in the landslide is in progress in the Gangavali River. During the diving test conducted this morning, Eshwar took out the log of an acacia tree from Malpe River, said to the one ferried in Arjun’s lorry. Owner Manaf successfully identified the wooden log.
