SHIRUR: The search for Arjun, a native of Kozhikode, who went missing in a landslide, is at a crucial stage. Diver Eshwar Malpe dived into the Gangavalli River and found more parts of the lorry. Apart from the tyres and steering, which are believed to belong to Arjun's lorry, parts of another vehicle were also found on another side of the river. Manaf, the owner of the lorry, said the two tyres lifted with a crane were not of Arjun's lorry.
It is learnt that the part brought out was not from Arjun's lorry. Earlier, a tanker lorry had also gone missing in the river. At the same time, an attempt is being made to lift the cabin of the lorry using an iron rod tied to the crane. However, the cabin has not been lifted yet. Up to 60 tons of weight can be lifted with the crane of the dredger. It is assumed that it will not be heavier than that.
