WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in the United States for a three-day visit. He arrived in Philadelphia at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time last night and then headed to Wilmington, Delaware, the birthplace of President Joe Biden, to attend the annual Quad summit.

Apart from Modi and Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida have also arrived in the US. Modi will have bilateral talks with Quad leaders and will sign several agreements.

Prime Minister Modi's recent visits to Russia and Ukraine, and peace efforts are likely to be topics of discussion during his meeting with Biden. The purchase of 31 Predator drones from the US may also be discussed.

Modi will then head to New York and meet with top US company heads on Sunday. The goal is to strengthen cooperation in areas like artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. Later, he'll address the Indian community at the 'Modi and US, Progress Together' event in Long Island. Tomorrow, he'll participate in the UN's Summit of the Future.
