THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Soon after Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan raised harsh criticisms at the press meet convened yesterday, the CPM state secretariat also did the same against P V Anwar MLA. The CPM said the action from the side of Anward weakens the party and the Front and asked him to withdraw from open responses. The statement released said the party cannot agree with him in any way.
The statement said
Nilambur MLA P V Anwar is working as an independent MLA of the Left Democratic Front in the Legislative Assembly and Nilambur Constituency. He is also a member of the CPI (M) parliamentary party.
He has submitted some allegations related to some issues in writing before the chief minister. A copy of the complaint has also been given to the party state secretary. The things mentioned in the complaint are being investigated by the government and the issues to be examined by the party are being considered by the them. As the facts are, he has been spreading continuous allegations against the government and the party through the media. The party cannot agree with this stand of P V Anwar MLA.
Such attitudes taken by P V Anwar MLA are becoming weapons for the enemies of the party to attack the government and the party. The CPI (M) state secretariat requests that such attitudes be rectified and withdraw from the move to weaken the party.
