NILAMBUR: MLA P V Anvar updated his Facebook cover photo shortly after announcing the suspension of his public statements. He replaced a picture with the Chief Minister with one featuring Left Party activists. Following the Chief Minister's press conference, the CPM declared that it does not support Anvar’s actions, prompting him to halt his public statements temporarily, affirming that the party remains paramount.

In a Facebook post, Anvar wrote, "I am bound to carry out the instructions given by the party head. I am temporarily stopping public statements on this matter. I have full faith in my party and am confident that justice will be served."

He also raised concerns about misconduct within the police, asserting he feels no guilt and will not back down. "As a public servant, I have addressed these issues despite significant challenges, as it is essential for the well-being of our party members and the general public."

Following Anvar’s press conferences, his revelations garnered considerable support online, with strong opposition emerging against Chief Minister's Political Secretary P Shashi and ADGP M R Ajith Kumar in various cyber forums.
