THRISSUR: Tuition teacher arrested in case of molesting student in Aloor. Sarath (28), a native of Vellanchira, was arrested by the police on a complaint that he had taken nude pictures by threatening. He is the owner of three tuition centres.

The girl first told her friend about the harassment. Later a complaint was lodged with the police. The complaint is that she was threatened and sexually harassed for three years. The girl did not file a complaint because the nude pictures were in Sarath's possession. He had threatened to release the pictures if she told anyone.

Sarath also handled the girl's social media accounts. He had deleted the girl's pictures from his phone before he was caught. The phone has been sent for testing to collect evidence. The harassment started when the child was studying in Plus Two. Later, the child was in severe mental distress. She told shared this with a friend while she went to study engineering and a complaint was filed with the help of the friend.
