THRISSUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Monday that it has been found that an attempt was made to disrupt the Thrissur Pooram festivities earlier this year. Speaking at the Azhikodan Raghavan memorial event in Thrissur, the Chief Minister said that he will receive the report in this regard on Tuesday.

"I will get the report on this tomorrow. I can't say anything about it now as I don't know the details mentioned in it. The report will be released soon," the CM said.

"Some media outlets are already publishing reports about what is in the report without even seeing the report. If you wait for three to four days, you will get to know what's in it. I had ordered that the report on the Thrissur Pooram disruption should be submitted before the 24th. The report reached the DGP's office by the 23rd itself. The report will reach my hands tomorrow," he said.

"CPM is moving forward in its own way. The party won't succumb to opposition from vested interests," he added.
