Actress Nikhila Vimal, the current star of online interviews, opened up about her reasons for rejecting the hit movie ‘Meppadiyan’ released in 2022.

Nikhil Vimal:

“I had nothing concrete to do in that film. Seriously. When the makers narrated the story, my role just had an entry in a Jeep and it was a wrap. When I asked for the script, they denied it citing petty reasons like it was scribbled up and was not in the best form. Then I knew I had no real thing to do in the film.

But when they gave Anju Kurian the role, the character was developed, so it came out good. For me, they just narrated the entry scene on Jeep and it was like a clear 'No' from my side. Many people later informed me how upset director Vishnu Mohan was when I rejected Meppadiyan.”

Nikhila is the lead actress in the recently released ‘Kadha Innuvare’, Vishnu Mohan’s sophomore directorial.
