KOCHI: The Kerala Police is on the lookout for actor Siddique, who is still at large after the High Court denied him anticipatory bail in a sexual misconduct case. But something interesting took place last day at Siddique’s residence in Aluva.
Police disguised as BSNL employees arrived at Siddique's house in Aluva Kuttamassery on Wednesday. Six police officers arrived in a Bolero vehicle with BSNL insignia. The journalists crowded in front of the actor's residence were befuddled seeing the BSNL car at the odd hour.
The officials informed the media that they came to check the fiber connection in the house. Even so, why would more than five officials from BSNL appear to check fiber connection? More questions from the media followed and then one journalist spotted a ‘BSNL’ employee carrying an identity card of Kerala police. The plan crumbled like a pack of cards.
The gate to the house was locked from inside so the police could not enter. The officials tried to jump the wall but backed off fearing being trolled. The group left the place after communicating the matter to their superior officer over the phone.
